Hannah’s challenge
Like many growing SMEs, My Thriving Child faced the challenge of connecting with its audience – single parents.
Despite being active on social media and posting regularly, their content wasn’t reaching as many people as she hoped. As a result, social media growth felt slow and frustrating.
Hannah also hosted a regular podcast and dreamed of expanding her website into a dedicated community space. A place where single parents can connect, share experiences, and access valuable resources. But as a busy therapist and single mum, she had little time to bring this vision to life.

The solution was to rethink how Hannah recorded reels, using visual metaphors and a conversational tone. Techniques aimed at striking an emotional chord.
Meanwhile, carousel posts also evolved. Still satisfying Hannah’s wish to inform and educate, these posts now spoke from a child’s perspective.
The intention was to draw a stronger attention toward the ultimate goal of single parents. Achieving a future where they and their children thrive.
One especially successful post painted a heartwarming picture of a child reflecting upon their parent’s divorce. Looking back in admiration of the steps their parent took to change their lives around.
After these changes, My Thriving Child saw incredible growth on social media, with Instagram followers skyrocketing from 2,500 to 12,000! With a larger and more engaged audience, Hannah felt confident taking the next big step. This was to expand her website and create a dedicated community and resource hub. It was a major project, and she entrusted Pipsqueak Media to bring it to life.
Working closely with Hannah’s team, we created a clear, functional website map and set up streamlined processes for managing content. This included everything from editing course videos and podcasts to curating PDF guides and running effective email marketing campaigns.
